Born in Alor Setar, Kedah in 1945, Keng Seng Choo graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore in 1965. His practice includes oil painting, figurative compositions and pigeon paintings rooted in Malaysian life.
People, family and the rhythms of everyday life recur in his work. Pigeons carry a particular personal meaning: in his artist’s statement, he recalls growing up in a family that kept pigeons, and describes their connection to freedom, peace and artistic expression.

Keng Seng Choo is a full-time artist born in 1945 in Alor Setar, Kedah where he now lives with his wife. Their home houses a personal collection of his artworks spanning a career of over 45 years.
Keng Seng Choo graduated in 1965 from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. His works have won acclaim and many awards including a Silver Medal at the New York International Art Show in 1970. Many of his paintings are in public and institutional collection in Malaysia and overseas.
龚明金先生是一位来自马来西亚的全职画家。他于1945年出生在马来西亚吉打州，育有两男一女，如今和妻子住在吉打州亚罗士打县。他们的房子收藏了这位画家超过45年职业生涯的作品。
